Student Collaboration Activity series 12: Dementia Care: Perspectives from India and UK.
Manipal College of Nursing, Manipal, has been actively involved in addressing dementia care through various initiatives, including student collaboration activities and collaborative projects with the UK. These efforts focus on understanding dementia from both Indian and UK perspectives, promoting compassionate care, and raising awareness about Alzheimer's disease.
As part of European perioperative nursing day, Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, Manipal, in collaboration with the Turkish Surgical and Operating Room Nurses' Association, organized an online international symposium with the theme 'Proud Operating Room Nurses: Our Future' on 15.02.2024. The opening ceremony was done by Dr. Filiz OGCE AKTAS, International Faculty of MCON, Manipal, Karnataka, India; Professor & Dean, Izmir University of Economics, Faculty of Health Science; President, Turkish Surgical & Operating Room Nurses Association, Türkiye.
