Quality Education
The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) continues to strengthen its commitment to SDG 4 - Quality Education by expanding access to inclusive, equitable, and high-quality education for students and communities. With a strong foundation in teaching and educational research, MAHE makes significant contributions to developing skilled educators and fostering lifelong learners. The university produces graduates in primary-school teaching and other education-related fields, supporting national efforts to improve foundational learning outcomes.
MAHE’s emphasis on lifelong learning has grown substantially this year. The university offers a broad portfolio of public-facing educational programmes—including open lectures, community workshops, executive education, and vocational training—designed to make learning accessible to diverse groups, including local residents, professionals, and underserved communities. Through extensive educational outreach in schools and community settings, MAHE supports early learning, digital literacy, career guidance, and capacity-building programmes that extend well beyond the campus.
The institution continues to ensure that all learning opportunities and outreach activities are governed by policies that uphold inclusivity regardless of gender, income level, disability, religion, or immigration status. By providing open educational resources, fostering accessible learning environments, and prioritizing community-oriented educational initiatives, MAHE advances its vision of education as a driver of social transformation and sustainable development.
