Staff Access to Mental Health support

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) demonstrates a strong and sustained institutional commitment to promoting the mental, emotional, and psychological well-being of its staff across all campuses—Manipal, Mangaluru, Bengaluru, Jamshedpur, and Dubai. Through free and confidential counselling services, active wellness promotion programmes, grievance mechanisms, suicide-prevention initiatives, therapeutic workshops, and widely accessible clinical services, MAHE fosters a supportive, inclusive, and psychologically safe workplace culture.

These initiatives fully align with SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being, ensuring that all staff members have stigma-free access to resources that promote emotional resilience, stress management, and workplace harmony.

1. FREE MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT SERVICES FOR STAFF (ONGOING)

Across all MAHE campuses, staff have FREE access to mental health services delivered by trained counsellors and mental health professionals. The goal is to empower employees, enhance well-being, and reduce workplace stressors.
