Manipal Centre for Natural Sciences (MCNS), MAHE Research Internships:

Summer Research Internship (SRI): The SRI is a six-week tailor-made educational event that provides candidates with exposure to research excellence in fundamental sciences. It also serves as a platform for them to interact with some of the world's most renowned scientists from India and around the world. In the year 2023, MCNS offered three major fields of study: Astrophysics, Particle Physics, and Nuclear Physics. The advertisement for the program was widely distributed via various science and social media platforms. Additionally, three expert talks were organized as part of the program. This initiative exemplifies MAHE's commitment to fostering quality education and global scientific collaboration.

The interns underwent a soft skills training session at the Centre, in addition to attending MAHE SRF courses given by MCNS experts. At the end of the program, the participants presented their research findings on their chosen topic and discussed their significance. Upon completion of the presentation and report writing, participants received certificates.
