Basic life support training- Sai Radha Green Valley Residents- April 2024
On April 14, 2024, a Basic Life Support (BLS) training program was conducted at Sai Radha Green Valley in their community hall. The session was attended by 35 participants comprising individuals from various age groups and professions, reflecting a diverse cross-section of the community. The primary focus of the training was to impart crucial life-saving skills such as hands-only CPR, the use of automated external defibrillators (AED), and procedures for assisting choking victims.
During the training session, participants were given hands-on demonstrations and practical exercises to familiarize themselves with the proper techniques for performing CPR and using AED devices. Instructors emphasized the importance of quick response and effective interventions in emergency situations, highlighting how these skills can significantly improve the chances of survival for individuals experiencing cardiac arrest or airway obstruction due to choking.
